Moodboard

Mood boards, sometimes also called inspiration boards, are used in a variety of disciplines, like interior or webdesign. A mood board is extremely useful for establishing the aesthetic feel of a garden. Things that can be explored in the mood board include style, colour of planting, hard landscape elements, water, furniture, and the overall atmosphere of the garden. A rough collage of colors, textures and pictures is all it takes to evoke a specific style or feeling.

We have been using moodboards for some time as part of our design process. We believe that working with moodboards is considerably more effective than producing multiple design concepts.
