Woonbeurs Amsterdam – Secret Garden by Bart Hoes

I was happily supporting Dutch Garden Architect Bart Hoes once more at the famous Dutch lifestyle and interior exhibition the Woonbeurs in Amsterdam. This year Bart has designed the ‘Secret Garden’, a huge green oasis where you can meet other people, sit down and relax for a moment.

You enter the garden through an antique gate, accompanied by vertical green living walls. A small path from sustainable bamboo flooring accentuates the sight line of the garden. This is reinforced by a water basin at the end of the axis in which an overflowing stainless steel shell can be seen. High-quality shading systems, a large outdoor fireplace and atmospheric lighting provide a sheltered and comfortable ambiance to the garden.
