A Roof Top Vegetable Garden in Amsterdam

Next week I will be meeting Florian, a successful photographer who lives together with his girlfriend in a two-floor apartment in Amsterdam’s city center. The couple has a roof terrace where Florian started his own kitchen garden. There he cultivates tomatoes, potatoes, corn, sprouts and other fruits and vegetables. I am really courious to meet him and learn more about his urban farming project. Last week I was supporting Dutch Garden- and Landscape Architect Bart Hoes Groene Architectuur at the Woonbeurs in Amsterdam. The exhibition was all about the home and living in Holland. Sadly we missed some beautiful sunny days, indeed the last days of summer. However the amount of interesting people we met there and the fun we had together with the HOME ID team definitely made up for it.
